The Nick Agar Signature Series Woodworking Accessories Kit includes a phenomenal collection of additional 2” (50mm) diameter accessories that fit the Merlin2® mini angle grinder and transforms the grinder into an exceptional crossover power tool for woodturning, woodcarving, miniature woodworking and metal working. Our development of the Hexagonal Threaded Connector (HTC) backing pad now makes it possible to add Quick Change (QC) and KAT/Nick Agar tested Roloc™ accessories; flap discs, bristle discs and surface conditioning discs. Our development of the Hook & Loop (H&L) backing pad allowed Nick and KAT to add nine (9) oversize 2.2” (56mm) sanding discs from 80 to 1200 grit. Nick insisted we use Indasa Rhynogrip Redline sandpaper and make them the same dimensions he’d used in his turnings and sculptures. Only he’d previously used scissors to cut them out! And why? So the paper would curl over at the edges to sand even, but also perpendicular side surfaces.
We co-developed the Tungsten Carbide All Surface 3 Edge discs. These four (4) discs range from Extreme Coarse to Fine grit and they’ve opened up totally new dimensions in turning and carving, expanding customer’s creativity and productivity.
The HTC Backing Pad threads into the Merlin2® gearhead and extends about 1” (25mm). With this selection of different accessories, you will expand your uses to include sanding, debarking, deburring, blending, finishing, polishing, wood and metal cleaning.
