These Hole Cutters are a highly unusual series of cutting tools. They virtually “drill” between approximately 2” to 3” diameter holes in wood using the great power of an angle grinder. Working with these different sized hole cutters adds a brand-new dimension to carving.
The 2-7/8” (72mm) Hole Cutter fits directly on a 4-1/2” (115mm) angle grinder (not included) with the included special adapter. It has a larger diameter than the 3” Hole Cutter MP21-8-3 but the same length. Once they’re hooked up, the carving end is 7” (178mm) away from the head of the grinder. It can be further extended by another 5-1/2” (140mm) with the Sanding Tool MP21-12 so you can carve 12-1/2” (318mm) away from the grinder’s head. You’ll have tremendous reach when added to the length of your arms.

SAFETY TIPS & WARNINGS
- NEVER ATTACH ANY HOLE CUTTER TO A MULTI EXTENSION SHAFT – IT WILL DESTROY THE TOOL AND POTENTIALLY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.
- YOU CAN SAFELY JOIN UP TO THREE (3) SANDING TOOLS, BUT NO MORE, AT ANY ONE TIME TO A 4” HOLE CUTTER.
- USING THREE (3) SANDING TOOLS EQUALS 16½” (419MM) + 5 ⅝” (143MM) HOLE CUTTER TOTALS 22⅛” (562MM). AGAIN, USE CAUTION & CARE, BE IN CONTROL AND AWARE.
- EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HERE, THOUGH IT’S POSSIBLE, DO NOT USE DIFFERENT OR SAME TYPE EXTENSIONS TO FURTHER EXTEND YOUR ANGLE GRINDER OR POWER DRILL. OVEREXTENDING YOUR REACH WITH EXTENSIONS COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL CAUSING DAMAGE TO TOOLS AND PERSONAL INJURY.
