This is the replacement 10 pack of oversize sanding discs, first and coarsest in the series of nine (9). It is very convenient, affordable and offers peace of mind to keep them on hand as you progress through the grits to complete your projects. Nick Agar insisted we use Indasa Rhynogrip Redline sandpaper and make them the same dimensions he’d used in his turnings and sculptures. Nick recommended, then personally tested and approved the nine (9) grit graduations of these H&L sanding discs. In the many instances where flat and contoured surfaces meet perpendicular sides, oversize sanding discs overcome these issues. In woodturning and carving, these extra large sanding discs are very flexible, curling over the backing pad’s edge so you can achieve a flawless finish with no sharp, side edges to scratch your work. We investigated, tested and agreed with these features and those listed below –we didn’t ignore this woodturning rock star’s advice!

- They work best on our Merlin2® variable speed grinders, which have excellent control using the speed controller.
- There are nine (9) grits of sanding discs included in this set ranging from 80 to 1200 grit.
- Achieve high stock removal and perfect finish with little clogging
- Very flexible, bending to the shape of the pressure you apply to the backing pad so you can achieve a flawless, surface finish
- When starting your sanding, we recommend beginning with the lowest number (coarse) sandpaper grit and work up gradually toward the highest (fine) grit to suit (or complete) your masterpiece!
