This Carbide Abrasive Flame-Shaped Burr fits flex shafts, mini die grinders and air grinders or other machinery using 1/4" collets or adjustable chucks. You will achieve different effects using the abrasive burr and make concave cuts and V Cuts for texture and details, using the tip for detailing and grooving. It provides fast stock removal with an outstanding finish. Though not prone to loading the burr may be easily cleaned with solvent or burned clean with a propane or gas torch; heat won’t harm the teeth.

- Ideal for making concave and convex cuts in e.g. spoons, small bowls, furrows and wavy patterns
- Can aid in sculpting hollowed areas with undercut/overhung edges
- Engineered to cut faster, last longer and require less cleaning than other comparable rotary carving tools
- Recommended operating speed range is 10,000 - 25,000 RPM
- Can be used at lower speeds but both material removal rate and control improve as speed increases
